The Beginning
COVID-19 — a creative outlet begins

It didn’t begin with a perfectly mapped-out business plan.
It began during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic with creativity, determination, and a desire to build something of our own.
What started as a creative outlet while our founder was working at Kroger gradually became something much bigger. One project became another. One client became a community. Graphic design expanded into branding, photography, videography, marketing, web design, print, and creative direction.
But as Six14 grew, so did the vision behind it.

Why Six14?
The name Six14 is personal.
June 14 is the birthday of our founder’s great-grandmother — a woman remembered for her faith, strength, and the foundation she created for generations after her. Naming the agency Six14 became a way to honor that legacy while building a new one.
That meaning has become even more important as the business has evolved.
Six14 is no longer simply about making things look good. We believe creativity can have purpose. Brands can tell meaningful stories. Businesses can be built with integrity. And the gifts God gives us can be used to serve people far beyond ourselves.
Our journey has included a transition from building a business based solely on what we could create to intentionally building a God-led creative company rooted in faith, excellence, service, and purpose.
We still love bold concepts.
We still love beautiful branding.
We still love creating something from nothing.
But now, we understand why we create.

Where Heatwave entered the story
As Six14 continued to grow, another part of the vision began taking shape. After photographing the Iverson Classic, our founder saw an opportunity to combine a love for sports with the storytelling, photography, design, and marketing skills already being developed through Six14.
That vision became Heatwave Athletics — the sports-focused sister company of Six14, created for athletes, teams, schools, programs, and sports organizations. Through sports photography, media days, videography, creative content, branding, marketing, and game coverage, Heatwave brings Six14’s creative foundation directly into the world of athletics.

Today, Six14 Creative Agency is growing into a full-service creative home where ideas can become brands and brands can become experiences.
Whether we’re developing a new identity, designing a website, creating campaign graphics, photographing a milestone, producing video content, developing marketing materials, or helping a business bring an idea to life, our goal is bigger than simply delivering a finished product.
We want to help people build something that means something.
Six14 is still growing. Heatwave is still growing. And so is the vision. What began during COVID with a computer, creativity, and an idea has become something we believe God is continuing to shape into a platform capable of serving businesses, athletes, organizations, communities, and the Kingdom.
This isn’t just about where we’ve been. We’re building for where God is taking us next.
